About

I have curious mind and a broad range of interests, professionally they circle around data analysis, statistics, software development, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In this blog, I write about these topics.

I am a member of the Boost C++ Project, to which I contributed the Histogram library, and a C++ guru, but recently I only program in Python, since it is so much more enjoyable. With Numba, one can write numerical code in Python with C++ equivalent performance in a fraction of the time.

I have a PhD and habilitation in astroparticle physics. If you want to know more about my professional career, click on the LinkedIn button above.

I maintain a range of useful data science libraries, click on the Github button above if you want to know more.
